Four Roses Distillery

Located on the banks of the Salt River in Southern Anderson County, Four Roses Bourbon Distillery is a shining example of Spanish Mission-Style architecture. Built in 1910, the distillery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a must-see when you’re visiting Central Kentucky. Tour availability - Mid-September thru June, Monday - Saturday - 9am to 3pm.

Wild Turkey Distillery

Wild Turkey Bourbon Distillery can trace its roots back to 1869, when the Ripy family began producing bourbon in Western Anderson County. Prohibition shut down the facility for a short time, but after the 21st Amendment passed in 1933, modern equipment and techniques were implemented and production began once more. Tour availability - Monday - Saturday – 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm

Lovers Leap Winery

Kentucky Permanent Healing Field

Kentucky Permanent Healing Field - One of only two such monuments in the nation (there is a temporary field at the 911 site), this field is a living tribute to the Kentucky servicemen and women who have lost their lives in the war on terror. Developed and funded by the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Kentucky, this memorial was presented as a gift to all. Open year round - 6am to 12am daily.

Anderson County Burgoo Festival

Currently in its 16th year, the Anderson County Burgoo Festival is a three-day event full of entertainment, crafts, games and food. Held in downtown Lawrenceburg from September 25 - 27, 2009 the Festival committee invites you to join us in learning about the history of burgoo while enjoying great music, a re-enactment of a local Civil War battle, and too many other activities to mention.
