Horse Farms

Visiting a horse farm while you're in town is a uniquely Bluegrass kind of experience you'll long remember. And it's easier than you might think. You should never just “drop by”—but more than a few farms allow visitors by appointment or through arrangements with professional tour companies.

Historic Homes

In Lexington and the Bluegrass region, there’s a lot of history to be re-lived. This was the first part of Kentucky to be settled, and the beginning of the American West. The Civil War deeply divided the state but, fortunately, most antebellum houses and buildings were left intact. Many national leaders and other prominent individuals of 18th- and 19th-century America can claim a connection to Lexington.
